Cake and more cake

When I discovered blogging I thought I would save the money I spent on craft magazines, but I am still addicted to them. I can't resist the the covers with their hidden treasures inside waiting for me. There is no point in making a new years resolution to stop, better to make one that I will use some of the free gifts or ideas. So here are two cards one made using free stamps from docrafts Creativity issue 25. I have also wanted to make cards using the raw cardboard effect (don't know what you would call it) but could never source and stock, then when I wasn't looking for it,  I found a large pack of Papermania 5 x 7 card blanks. I hope you enjoy my cakes.

1st  cake is cut using Doodlecharms 4.25 inches, divine swirls embossing folder, free stamps for background.
2nd cake cut using Celebrations cut at 3 inches, universal embossing folder cupcakes craft concepts for background.

Thanks for following my blog and the kind comments you
leave, they are what keep me going ox

Daisy fresh

Here is a card I made for a friends birthday. I stamped a daisy image onto acetate using cotton white staz on opaque. I cut the daisies using a punch and added adesive stones. I made the insert on the computer and layered it onto a shaped image cut with the cricut.

Tilda with rose

I had coloured this image some time ago but not done anything with it. The Sir Stampalot challenge gave me the push I needed to finish the card but I lost the courage to enter it.
Maybe I will try a challenge soon. The lace edge is made using a Martha Stewart border punch.

Mice Time

I wasn't kidding when I said this is taking a lot of time. You should be able to see more than one post on a page. Which I think I have sorted, oh such joy.  If not please click on other posts to view.  I don't do much stamping as I am addicted to my cricut, although I do love mice and Tilda stamps. Here are three cards I made using a Penny Black stamp.

The image is stamped onto a shape cut using Accent Essentials and coloured using Twinkling H2O's
