Hidden treasure

I finally got round to using a cut I've wanted to do for some time. It is made up of two layers to give it some depth, as well as inking the edges. I just hope it survives the in the post. Along with shaped cards I like making pictures the most.

Life is a beach diver cut at 5.25 inches, chest at 2 inches and coral 1.5 inches. Sand is cut using tonic shapemate ruler.

Tropical

I made this card for my youngest son Russell's birthday. I chose this cut as he and his wife collect the Guiness tucan items. He is a very regal, fun character. I am also going to enter it into a challenge that I discovered while blog hopping between you all, Fantabulous Cricut challenge blog
All the cuts are from Life is a beach. I used the tucan card feature then cut the bird layers leaves to decorate. I made two of these cards :-
card cut 5 inch with bird cut at 3.25 inch and card cut at 5.25 inch with bird cut at 3.5 inch
I used a blue paper for insert and blue chalked the card itself.

Lazy Hazy Days of Summer

This is the card I have made to enter the Sir Stampalot challenge Lazy Hazy Days of Summer. It was not a quick make, I started it weeks ago then events took over and I only just made the dealine. I wasn't quick enough to be able to take the photo in day light. I must  make myself more organised next time. I doubt I would attempt cutting letters that small too often! I loved the title of the challenge as it allowed me to create a picture using my Cricut. All the peices are made up of several layers. I just hope I can make the link. I was pleased to be able to use the Life is a beach cart.
