First Shaped album

I made this album for our 3 year old granddaughter Olivia. She has just had an operation and in is now in a hip spiker plaster. I wanted her to have pictures of the family to look at while she was in hospital. She is now home and taking the restraints of being all plastered up very well. She is pictured throughout the book and true to form the first thing she ate after her operation was toast. This is my first attempt at a shaped picture book. I chose Mickey as she had just spent a voucher before going into hospital buying Mickey to go with her Mini mouse.
There are three dogs in the family, that page was fun to do. I cut a westie in chipboard to make a book mark and also a doll. Once I had finished the book  I felt at a loss "what can I do now" I said to hubby,  his reply "housework" Oh horror I won't ask that one again LOL. I will now have to have fun making books for our other grandchildren

I used Design studio and Gypsy. The book is cut at 5.75 inches.
Cartridges used are
Plantin schoolbook, Accent essentials, Animal kingdom, Going places, New arrival, Everyday paper dolls, Create a critter, and of course Mickey and friends.

Thanks for following my blog and the kind comments you
leave, they are what keep me going ox

Mice Time

I wasn't kidding when I said this is taking a lot of time. You should be able to see more than one post on a page. Which I think I have sorted, oh such joy.  If not please click on other posts to view.  I don't do much stamping as I am addicted to my cricut, although I do love mice and Tilda stamps. Here are three cards I made using a Penny Black stamp.

The image is stamped onto a shape cut using Accent Essentials and coloured using Twinkling H2O's
