Lazy Hazy Days of Summer

This is the card I have made to enter the Sir Stampalot challenge Lazy Hazy Days of Summer. It was not a quick make, I started it weeks ago then events took over and I only just made the dealine. I wasn't quick enough to be able to take the photo in day light. I must  make myself more organised next time. I doubt I would attempt cutting letters that small too often! I loved the title of the challenge as it allowed me to create a picture using my Cricut. All the peices are made up of several layers. I just hope I can make the link. I was pleased to be able to use the Life is a beach cart.

Sand is layers of cream card cut with a wave cutter and inked
Sea is layers of  core dimention card torn
New arrival boat 3.5 inches
Plantin schoolbook letters .5 inches with and without shadow
Life is a beach castle 2.5 inches brolly 4 inches bucket 1.5 inches
Base card 11 x 8 inches

Time for a drink

I bought the base card already embossed which made it a quick card to make but I loved the result.
I haven't forgotten you all, I have been busy decorating 50 bags of chocolates, a project I will share with you when it's finished. The amazing thing is I haven't eaten any!

Walk in my garden watering can 3.5 inches, flowers .75 inches
Butterfly punch
Base card already embossed 7.75 x 7.75

Fairy wishes

This will be my first card challenge entry if I manage to make the link to  shaped card. I am not very good with computers, it's amazing I've managed this far. I certainly get lost on facebook which my eldest son finds amusing. I made this card for our granddaughter Tayla's 10th birthday so I hope she enjoys seeing it online.

When I made this card I did not have Design studio or gypsy I just cut using the cricut and pieced everything together.
The back is just another number one attached and holding it all up.
Plantin schoolbook numbers cut 11.25 inches with and without shadow. I cannot remember what size I cut the wording birthday wishes
Paper doll dress up fairy is 6 inches, her dress is layered card and fancy vellum I gave her tights using the same vellum. The wand I cut a circle of vellum then cut it to the shape once I'd got all the letters on I needed.
Animal kingdom used to cut the dog.
I added the dog as she had a westie puppy.

Tilda with rose

I had coloured this image some time ago but not done anything with it. The Sir Stampalot challenge gave me the push I needed to finish the card but I lost the courage to enter it.
Maybe I will try a challenge soon. The lace edge is made using a Martha Stewart border punch.
