I made this card for my youngest son Russell's birthday. I chose this cut as he and his wife collect the Guiness tucan items. He is a very regal, fun character. I am also going to enter it into a challenge that I discovered while blog hopping between you all, Fantabulous Cricut challenge blog
All the cuts are from Life is a beach. I used the tucan card feature then cut the bird layers leaves to decorate. I made two of these cards :-
card cut 5 inch with bird cut at 3.25 inch and card cut at 5.25 inch with bird cut at 3.5 inch
I used a blue paper for insert and blue chalked the card itself.

Thanks for following my blog and the kind comments you leave,
they are what keep me going. ox

Happy place

I have not been able to post on my blog for a while and am missing you all and my time to craft. My Dad had an accident some weeks ago and I need to spend time visiting him and making sure he has the care needed for the best recovery. I have always wanted my blog to be my happy place, (not where I am at the moment) I hope that I can get back to you all soon. I have even had to buy cards!! sshhh don't tell anyone. I do keep visiting you all to keep me going and see what you are up to.

Celebrating with chocolate

As I promised some time ago here are the pictures of a project  I had been working on, decorating 50 bags of chocolates which were given to the members attending the 20 year celebration party. All the cuts were done with Walk in my garden the ladies seemed to like them.

I can not claim the fame for the cake although I wish I could.
