Got you numbered

A number of the family have reached that age the big 30. I made this card for my son in law he hadn't wanted a card showing his age!

Plantin schoolbook numbers cut on shadow and without shadow 8.25inch
Everyday paper dolls golf bag cut real dial size 5.5inch. I stamped and embossed the top of the clubs.

What next for Katie

The card I made for Katie this year is my most favourite yet. I got the idea from Jeannie Phillips blog  A place for my cards. Infact it was following Jeannie's blog and others linked to her that gave me the courage to have a go at starting a blog, so thanks for all the help by sharing and the fun I am now having.

The base card is A4
Blue sky paper from local craft shop, I added text on the computer.
Core dimentions card two shades of brown.
Paper doll dress up fence 4inch x2 welded using CDS, also used this cart and CDS for the grass.
Home decor branch 3.5inch Bird 1inch
Lyrical letters notes 3.75inch
Every day paper doll pig real dial size 2.5inch, small pig real dial size flipped cut 2inch, pig on inside of card cut at 2.25inch.
The Mummy pig was made using
Plantin schoolbook circle 4inches
Animal kingdom pigs face 3inch, feet 4inches

Then she was seven

I folded an A3 size card in half cut most of the front away then attached an A4 sheet of acetate using balloon shaped brads. The font will have been cut using Plantin schoolbook and the cake, my favourite of the cricut cakes was cut using Doodlecharms. The stamped image inside reads - I have an attitude and  I'm not afraid to use it! Say no more!

Katie

It is my granddaughter's birthday this week and I am looking forward to giving her, her card. I cannot post it yet as she follows my posts and said she was going to look and see what I have made her. Here is a picture of a past card I made. I like using acetate but made this card by laminating the letters cut using Plantin schoolbook. I then cut the sheet into squares, applied various stickers and tied them togther using raffia.

Fillmore

If my last post left you wondering what I meant by Fillmore here is a picture of the Cars character that I won't part with...not just yet anyway.

On the road

Olivia's first birthday was shortly followed by Ben's. The Cars cartridge nearly led me to give up on my cricut. I had chosen Fillmore, cut at 4inch as my first project. Not to be recommended unless you have very good eyesight and loads of patience! I did achieve it but Fillmore is firmly fixed to my craft room wall and going no-where. I met a lady in my local craft shop and she was good enough to give me some tips, meeting her also led to me buying the Design Studio. The character on Ben's card is McQween2 I like to make cards using acetate I hope you like it.

Plantin school book all letters and numbers (I think number 1 is cut at 4inch)
Cars  road 6inch  amounted on the inside of the card and car 4.5inch mounted on front of card.
I cannot be certain of the sizes as I hadn't written them down, how silly is that. At least you get an idea.

The shape of things to come

I made this shaped card for my granddaughters first birthday before I had the CDS. It took some sticking together. If I were making it today I would flip and weld the number one in CDS. I chose this Disney character because I had bought Olivia Lumpy from the Disney store when she was born.

Disney Pooh and Friends Lumpy cut at 4inch
Plantin School Book number one shadow 11.5inch and again without shadow
Small daisy punch

Mice Time

I wasn't kidding when I said this is taking a lot of time. You should be able to see more than one post on a page. Which I think I have sorted, oh such joy.  If not please click on other posts to view.  I don't do much stamping as I am addicted to my cricut, although I do love mice and Tilda stamps. Here are three cards I made using a Penny Black stamp.

The image is stamped onto a shape cut using Accent Essentials and coloured using Twinkling H2O's

Snail mail

I chose this card as my first post because of the time it has taken me to get started!
I made this card for my neice, my friend Sue wants me to be late with her card so she can have one, at this speed that won't be difficult to achieve!

Walk in my garden base card snail 3inch welded using CDS Cut snail 3 inch shadow and 3inch without shadow, chalked and mounted onto base card
Doodlecharms envelope, I first created the text in word then used the centre point feature to cut so text was where I wanted it to be. (I can't remember the size sorry)
